Did Sally hear that right? He was breaking off their relationship?

It started after the Freedom Fighters had found a way to restore her from her robotic state. The signs that a longtime mutual affection was coming to an end soon came to light. And today, they were confirmed correct.

"I need to leave this life. Think things through," he reasoned, further breaking her heart. "For now, I want to fight Eggman alone."

That was the last straw for Sally. Her fist went for him, opened up to reveal her palm, and struck his muzzle, sending him reeling for a moment.

I'm hoping that team fighters is made less dull, although I'm not sure what can be done - having an all SEGA cast takes its toll since they're restricted by SEGA's influence and can't be developed like Archie's own characters can.
